Professional Growing Media PRO-MIX ‘NCX’ Nursery Container Growing Medium Calling all nursery growers!!! Introducing PRO-MIX ‘NCX’, a medium-weight, peat-bark based professional growing medium for containerized nursery plants grown outdoors. It contains a blend of processed pine bark (45-55% by volume), Sphagnum peat moss (37-47% by volume), perlite, starter nutrient charge, dolomitic and calcitic limestone (for pH adjustment) and wetting agent. Pine bark is processed to 1/2" –3/4" size chips and is added for weight to increase pot stability and reduce water retention. Lightweight Sphagnum peat moss provides a base for retention of water and nutrients. This combination is ideal blend as a ‘general use’ nursery container mix, particularly when container stability and low-water retention are required. PRO-MIX ‘NCX’ is suitable for a wide variety of nursery plants and nursery potting applications, particularly: • Nursery Containers • Perennials and Hardy Mums • Potting of Bare-root Nursery Stock (i.e.: roses, shrubs, trees, etc.) • Potting of Nursery Liners (i.e.: woody ornamentals) • Large Greenhouse Containers (i.e.: foliage) PRO-MIX ‘NCX’ is available in 3 ft3 loose-fill bags (code # 0162P) for small potting needs and 60 ft3 bulk bags (code # 0662P) for large applications.
